Alfa Romeo – late 1950’s – early 1960’s badge keyring
This lovely vitreous enamel badge is an exact replica of an original badge dating from the late 1950's to early 1960's which is held in our reference collection.
The diameter of the badge is 24mm rather than 27mm which is the diameter of our other Alfa Romeo badges - which makes it ideal for fitting to our slimline teardrop keyfobs as available in this listing & shown in the photos.
The badge is available mounted onto slimline teardrop keyfobs in all the leather colours - but almost always seems to be ordered in red leather ! The other choices ordered are usually black or London Tan leather.
These badges would have originally been fitted to slimline teardrops or to torpedos as also listed. This listing is for the badge fitted to slimline teardrop keyfobs. This slightly smaller slimline teardrop size seems so appropriate for the Alfa Romeo cars of the late '50's & early '60's which were lithe & fleet of foot in comparison with many of the cumbersome offerings of other manufacturers of the period.
Perfect for your Giulietta, Spider, Berlina , Sprint Speciale or in fact any other Alfa Romeo !
Our thanks are due to our friend Russ Baer in Maryland USA who gave advice and encouragement to produce this keyfob.
Russ's enthusiasm for the Alfa Romeo marque can be judged by his email address which contains the word 'Alfanatic' !!
