Alfa Romeo – original vintage 1960s keyring – collector’s item
What a lovely original keyring - and we have just this one example to offer.
One of the nicest original Alfa Romeo keyrings which we have ever offered.
In 1972 the Alfa Romeo badge changed by virtue of the word 'Milano' being dropped from the design. The badge on this keyring pre-dates that change by quite a few years.
This keyring dates from the mid 1960s and is in exceptionally good condition as can be seen from the photos. We very rarely come across an original 50 year old Alfa Romeo keyring let alone one in this condition.
The vitreous enamel badge is in perfect condition and is mounted onto a genuine full grain black leather keyfob which has rather longer proportions than the usual slimline teardrop design which was prevalent in the 1960s.
'Made in England' is cast onto the back of the badge - the keyring will have been made in Birmingham at the time. Most automotive keyrings for the world's cars were produced in England at that time and then exported all over the world - it was quite an industry.
This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1960s Alfa Romeo motor car.
Keyrings like this in this condition are actually rarer than the cars themselves.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will cancel.
