REFERENCE ONLY - Levis motorcycle - original gilt badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob - collector's item

Sorry – this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered. However we have left the listing on view here in the Levis section of our website shop so that an example of an original Levis keyfob badge can be seen by those interested in this marque.

An original Levis keyfob badge which will have been produced  in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Possibly one of the rarest if not the rarest keyfob badge which we have ever offered .

The only one that we have ever seen.

This is a vitreous enamel on gilt keyfob badge for the Levis motorcycle which was produced by Manhattan Windsor badgemakers of Birmingham in the very early 1960s – possibly the late 1950s. 59/94

Manhattan Windsor did produce keyrings for motorcycles no longer in production ( the final Levis motorcycle was produced in 1941 )  – as the motorcycles were still in use on the roads in the late 1950s and early 1960s and had yet to attain classic status.

The badge is in excellent condition but does look it’s age as can be seen in the photos.

Butterfields of Birmingham produced 2 stroke motorcycles from 1911 onwards and then    4 stroke Levis motorcycles from 1928.

Between 1938 and 1941 their 496cc ohv model was produced – and is probably the model which the keyfob badge was intended to be used with.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing will cancel.
