NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
Royal Enfield keyfob badges which will probably have been produced in Birmingham a few years ago from the original badge die.
We have just 3 badges which we have mounted onto new leather keyfobs as can be seen in the photos .
When all 3 keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled .
Original 1960s Royal Enfield ‘drop’ badges like these are rare items as they were used on keyrings on open motorcycles in all weathers and soon got lost or damaged .
These 3 badges will be copies which will have been made a few years ago but were produced in vitreous enamel just like the original 1960s badges.
Modern reproductions of these badges are likely to be in modern resin based enamel – not vitreous enamel like these badges.
The badges are correct for any 1950s / 1960s Royal Enfield motorcycle up to 1967 when the Redditch factory closed and then up to when production ceased at the Bradford in Avon factory in 1970.
