AC – original vintage 1980s? keyring

We would think that this is an original AC keyring which will have been produced in the 1980s.

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in blue faux leather .

The construction of the keyring is classic 1980s with an aluminium rivet retaining the badge onto the keyfob .

We would think that this keyring will date from the 1980s but this method of construction did carry on after that period – so it could have been made later .

We always err on the side of caution if there is any doubt .

Having said that – the badge is in genuine vitreous enamel and the badge has ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ cast into the reverse – almost all keyrings & keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England at the time – it was quite an industry.

Almost all automotive keyrings are now made in the Far East.
