Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Alfa Romeo – original 1960s CUD? vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new keyfob in black pigskin leather

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original Alfa Romeo keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in red pigskin leather as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring has a superb original vitreous enamel Alfa Romeo ‘Milano’ badge which will have been produced in the 1960s.

Quite a small badge measuring 24mm in diameter ( most keyfob badges measure 27mm )

The badge is in lovely condition and was probably made by Castles Unit Development Co. of Leicester ( the famous CUD Company who made early torpedo keyrings for cars )

Not marked ‘CUD’ on the back – but some of their badges were not marked .

We have remounted the badge onto a new leather keyfob in genuine red pigskin leather – red leather has always been the most popular colour choice for Alfa Romeo keyrings by our customers and pigskin leather is one of the finest leathers which can be used for a keyring .

Pigskin leather was sometimes used for car keyrings in the 1950s & 1960s on account of it’s appearance and hard wearing characteristics – usually for prestige makes of car such as Aston Martin & Jaguar .

Hardly ever used nowadays on account of cost .

In 1972 Alfa Romeo dropped ‘Milano’ from their badge – so we know that this badge is pre-1972.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO   00/59    10/22
