An original Alfa Romeo keyring which we would date as having been produced in the early 1960s .
The keyring is in very good condition apart from some nickel plating wear from the higher areas of the wreath design which has exposed the underlying copper base metal.
‘Alfa Romeo Milano’ appears on all pre-1972 Alfa Romeo badges and the large diamond cut split ring with bevelled edges confirms that this keyring will date from the 1960s .
The badge is quite heavy and quite a size – with a diameter of 1.5″ ( 38mm ) with the Alfa Romeo vitreous enamel detail identical on both sides of the badge .
Where will it have been made ? …………………..a very good question.
It does not look typically English-made so we can only assume that it will have been made in Italy at the time .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
