We have just 3 of these superb quality original badges which came to us from the leather works of Heath & Machin & Co. of Walsall which changed hands in the 1970s and then finally closed in the 1990s.
These badges will have been made by Heath & Machin in the 1970s.
The badges are in nickel plate and vitreous enamel which is so bright and lustrous that they could have been made only yesterday.
We have mounted the badges onto new keyfobs in red leather as can be seen in the photos.
Heath & Machin made small leathergoods and keyrings and also mounted keyfob badges for other manufacturers most notably Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham .
In the 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry which has now sadly moved to The Far East.
These badges are original & correct for use with any post 1972 Alfa Romeo motor car – or could be used as a ‘retro keyring’ in a much later car.
When all 3 keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled.
