Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Alfa Romeo – original vintage new old stock late 1960s Freeline keyring – collector’s item

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original new old stock Alfa Romeo keyring which will have been produced in the late 1960s .

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

What a superb keyring and very easy to date as Alfa Romeo dropped ‘MILANO’ from their badge in 1972 .

This keyring is in new old stock mint condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

Whilst the keyring is new old stock there is an unimportant half circle indent in the leather on the back of the keyfob probably caused by the circular badge from another keyring pressed against it during the last 50 years of storage – also a small scuffed area of leather also on the back of the leather keyfob .

Both of these can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photo of the back of the keyfob .

By the style of the ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ backstamp on the badge & the style of the leather keyfob we know that this keyring was made by Freeline of Bristol and is the only example for Alfa Romeo which we have ever listed .

Freeline’s keyrings had jewellery quality vitreous enamel badges mounted onto distinctive shouldered keyfobs in a very good grade of genuine black leather .

They were a small concern compared to Melsom Products of Birmingham who were the main automotive keyring producer at the time .

Freeline produced a surprising range of keyrings but in relatively small numbers – so examples of their keyrings especially in mint condition like this one are few and far between .

This keyring is original & correct for any Alfa Romeo motor car up until 1972 . SMOSO   00/59   10/22
