1 in stock
An original Allis Chalmers keyfob badge which will probably have been produced in the 1960s or 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob.
When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
The only Allis-Chalmers keyfob badge which we have ever seen and listed over the last 10 years !
This badge is in nickel plate with vitreous enamel detail and is in very good used condition considering the life which it may have led on a working farm tractor !
We have remounted the badge onto a new ( heavy duty ! ) leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.
Then back of the badge is inscribed :- ” Made in England for Kupper Inc Milwaukee Wisconsin”
We would date the badge as having been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s and doubtless it would have been intended to have been used with one of the famous orange tractors or possibly one of the silver ‘gleaner’ combine harvesters .
I am privileged to have worked with an Allis-Chalmers Gleaner combine harvester in the late 1960s on a farm in Ruskington Fen, Lincolnshire.
The farm was still worked principally with working horses and the gleaner was bought simply for harvesting the first couple of rounds of each field to allow easier access for the horse drawn reaper !
That combine had it’s motor in an enclosed compartment and anyone working on the engine had to make sure that the door was well propped open to avoid someone starting the engine and driving off !
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
