These are original keyrings which were made by Premier Badges in London at the time – before automotive keyrings were made in The Far East.

Premier Badges’  name is cast onto the back of the badges. Very seldom do we see their name on the back of a keyfob badge .

These keyrings date from beyond the end of Armstrong Siddeley production – the production of keyrings for the marque  extended into the 1960s but there were many Armstrong Siddeley cars still in very regular use into the 1960s and early 1970s and there was still a demand for keyrings f0r use in the cars at that time.

In the 1960s & 1970s most keyrings for the world’s cars were still made in England – it was quite an industry.

Dating from the 1960s these keyrings are in excellent condition .

The badges are in nickel plate with vitreous enamel detail .

The badges are mounted onto black keyfobs which have the genuine leather symbol plainly gold-embossed …………………..but the keyfobs are not genuine leather.

They are in good quality textured faux leather. Trades descriptions legislation in the 1960s did not pick up on this and we commonly see similarly marked 1960s & 1970s keyrings.

Having said that these faux leather keyfobs often actually lasted better than the ones made from the genuine leather being used at the time for keyring production.

These keyrings are examples of the keyrings which actually being used in Armstrong Siddeley cars in the 1960s and into the 1970s.

When both keyrings have been sold – this listing will be cancelled.
