NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
What a superb item …………an original new old stock Armstrong Siddeley keyring in mint condition – how many more of these are out there in this condition ?
Most probably none.
Absolutely mint and perfect .
The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin .
This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1950s or 1960 Armstrong Siddeley motor car.
Pigskin was ( and is !) is a most up-market material which was sometimes used for special keyrings for prestige cars – notably Aston Martin & Jaguar who did make use of pigskin for some of their keyrings.
Pigskin was prized for it’s appearance and also it’s durability which made it ideal for keyfobs.
This keyring was made in the late 1950s by Premier Badges Ltd of London – one of the very few keyring manufacturers who are still in existence – now based at Ingatestone in Essex.
This keyring has been in our reference collection since November 2012 and we have just decided to list it here for sale.
A customer brought it to our stand at The Classic Car Show at NEC Birmingham in 2012 and the ticket on it shows that we paid him almost as much as we are asking for it now………..we must have had a good show !
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/57 01/21
