Aston Martin – original 1960s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Aston Martin keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

A rare original vitreous enamel Aston Martin keyfob badge which is in good condition – rather better than the photos suggest actually !

The light blue vitreous enamel is in very good condition with no enamel chips or scratches – some tiny dark blemishes in the enamel which can be seen in the enlarged photos are not apparent when viewed at life size with the naked eye.

Very small micro blemishes such as these are very common in 50 year old vitreous enamel and sometimes appeared as the molten enamel cooled after being removed from the furnace.

The ASTON MARTIN winged logo similarly appears perfect when viewed at life size with the naked eye – it is only in the enlarged high resolution photos that it appears rather grainy.

The nickel plating on the front and back of the badge is perfect and this badge is original & correct for any 1960s Aston Martin motor car.
