Aston Martin – original 1980s/ 1990s Manhattan Windsor black border badge remounted onto a new keyfob in tan pigskin leather

An original Aston Martin keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1980s or 1990s which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This badge came to us mounted onto it’s original peardrop shape leather keyfob but sadly the keyfob was in a very poor state  – please see the listing photo .

The badge has a border of black vitreous enamel ( these badges are rare ) and is in perfectly serviceable condition despite 3 enamel chips – so we have remounted it onto a new peardrop shaped leather keyfob in tan pigskin leather .

The enamel chips can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

Pigskin leather was sometimes used for Aston Martin keyrings and was prized for it’s appearance & durability .

The pigskin leather which we use is vintage material itself – it came from a closed Midlands factory which had been using it to cover hip flasks .

The original keyring was made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who made the Aston Martin keyrings at that time .

The original leather keyfob will be included as a keep-sake .
