We are not licensed by Aston Martin to reproduce the Aston Martin winged logo and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Aston Martin keyfob badges which have been made by us.
The 2 keyrings in this listing have original vintage keyfob badges dating from the 1960s which we are offering mounted onto new leather keyfobs.
We are fortunate to have just 2 of these very scarce original new old stock vitreous enamel Aston Martin keyfob badges with granulated chromium plated ground and black vitreous enamel border which were made by the well respected Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham who made most Aston Martin keyrings and badges in the 1960s.
We are able to offer these 2 enamel badges remounted onto slimline teardrop keyfobs in genuine tan pigskin as shown in the photos.
These badges would have been made in the late 1960s – each badge has ‘ Manhattan Windsor – Made in England ‘ on the back.
The very earliest Aston Martin keyring – of which we have an example in our reference collection – dates from 1957.
The winged logo which appears on those keyrings has been carried forward onto this 1960s design.
The badges were also available with a green border ( the green bordered badges were rather more plentiful ) – see separate listing.
We have an original example of this design of badge which had been mounted onto a tan pigskin keyfob in the slimline teardrop style at the time. In that case we have decided to offer these 2 black bordered badges mounted onto tan pigskin keyfobs – just the same.
A genuine original badge from the time mounted onto a new tan pigskin keyfob – and ready for the next 50 years.
This is as close as you are ever likely to get to the Aston Martin black border pigskin keyring without finding a completely original keyring .
When both of these keyrings have been sold ( this listing is for just one keyring ) then this listing will regrettably have to be cancelled. It is very unlikely that we will ever find any more of these badges to offer in the future.
