We are not licensed by Aston Martin to reproduce the Aston Martin winged logo and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Aston Martin keyfob badges which have been made by us.
The keyring in this listing has an original vintage keyfob badge dating from the 1970s which we are offering mounted onto a new leather keyfob.
A most unusual Aston Martin keyfob badge – this is the only one of its type which we have ever seen.
The nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition with a lustrous black enamel ground with ASTON MARTIN depicted on a subtle ochre yellow band within the winged logo.
This ochre colour is very 1970s and Aston Martin would probably have been keen to nod towards the fashion of the day without appearing brash .
The black vitreous enamel has an odd very superficial surface micro-scratch which are hardly noticeable unless you are looking for them.
The badge was made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham – as almost all Aston Martin keyfob badges were.
The unusual MWP on the back of the badge stands for Manhattan Windsor Products.
We have chosen to offer this rather special badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin- Aston Martin occasionally used pigskin for keyrings for special cars in period.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
The price which this keyring is listed at reflects the price which we had to pay in order to buy the badge privately.
