Bedford - new vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

A new Bedford keyfob badge which will have been produced in Birmingham a few years ago which we have mounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Bedford keyfob badges like this one were exact copies of an original keyfob badge which was produced in the 1960s and were probably made using the original die .

The badges were produced in vitreous enamel – just like the originals .

The badge features the Vauxhall Griffin – a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Bedford was a subsidiary Company of Vauxhall Motors.

In 1925 Vauxhall was bought out by General Motors and public hostility to imported products was appeased in 1930 when Vauxhall’s Luton plant produced the first Bedford.
