BMW – original 1960s vitreous enamel badge with slight flaw remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The keyring in this listing has an original vintage BMW keyfob badge which will have been produced around 50 years ago which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide as can be seen in the photos .

We are offering just this one keyring with this actual badge which has a slight flaw – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition apart from some slight loss of nickel plating which can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

When viewed at lifesize this flaw is hardly noticeable .

The vitreous enamel and is looking as fresh and bright as the day when it was made .

Being hand laid – the vitreous enamel is not as uniform in depth as more recently produced vitreous enamel badges – this gives a pleasing ‘dimpled’ vintage look to the badge which could never be replicated by modern means.

‘ BRITISH MADE ‘ marked on the reverse of the badge – in the 1960s almost all keyrings for British & European cars were made in England – it was quite an industry .
