Individually Handmade Keyrings For Classic Vehicles Made Here In England & Shipped Worldwide

BMW - original 1970s Raydek enamel keyfob badge mounted onto a new leather keyfob ( slight damage )

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

We do not make our own BMW keyfob badges as the BMW roundel is a protected logo & we do not have a licence

The badge mounted onto this keyring is an original item dating from the 1970s which we are offering mounted onto a new leather keyfob.

Just this one keyring to offer with this original badge dating from the 1970s which we are offering mounted onto one of our slimline teardrop keyfobs in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

The vitreous enamel badge is in new condition apart from a slight loss of nickel plating at the top of the right hand ‘leg’ where the little leather hinge connects the badge to the keyfob.

This can be plainly seen in the high resolution enlarged listing photos but is not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size.

The badge was made by RayDek of Birmingham whose details appear on the back of the badge- we have never found out exactly who they were and the only other badges we have ever seen made by them were for Porsche – so assume they only made badges for a few ‘prestige marques’.

At that time almost all keyrings and keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

Note that the style of the BMW letters ( font ) &  spacing of the letters does change with the different ages and makes of the badges.

A classic BMW keyring with a badge which is original & correct for any 1970s BMW car – or any other BMW car for that matter as the badge design remains virtually unchanged to the present day.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When this keyring has been sold then this listing will cancel.  00/53       07/20
