Individually Handmade Keyrings For Classic Vehicles Made Here In England & Shipped Worldwide

BMW - original late 1960s/early 1970s badge remounted onto a new keyfob in black pigskin

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

We do not make our own BMW keyfob badges as the BMW roundel is a protected logo & we do not have a licence

The badge mounted onto this keyring is an original item dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s which we are offering mounted onto a new leather keyfob.

An original vitreous enamel badge dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have mounted onto one of our classic rectangular keyfobs in genuine black pigskin as can be seen in the photos .

The badge is in really excellent condition – the vitreous enamel still retains almost the same level of gloss that it had when it was removed from the furnace almost 50 years ago.

We do not know which badgemaker will have made this particular badge but it will almost certainly be one of the Birmingham badgemakers.

‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ cast into the back of the badge – at that time almost all keyfob badges and keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

Badges like this deserve a special mounting – for which reason we have selected black pigskin for the keyfob.

Pigskin was sometimes used for keyfobs by manufacturers of prestige vehicles like Aston Martin & Jaguar and was ( and is ! ) a luxurious material prized for it’s appearance and durability.

A superb keyring which could be used with any BMW motor car of the period or as a ‘retro’ keyring in a much later car as the BMW logo has changed very little over the years.

We have become very well known for remounting original keyfob badges onto new keyfobs of the correct pattern to enable the badge to continue in use well into this 21st Century.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/56        12/20
