Sorry – this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We do not have a licence to produce the BMW roundel logo – this keyring is an original vintage keyring which dates from the 1980s.
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer which is a genuine original new old stock BMW 1980s dealership keyring- this is the keyring which those ‘in the know’ are looking for.
It is some time since we had one of these rare keyrings to offer – these are the keyrings which were supplied with the top of the range cars which BMW had in its 1980s line up.
These keyrings were made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham UK – some had their logo on the back of the badge whilst some didn’t – this one hasn’t and this may be because BMW had specifically asked that the back of the badges be left plain .
The jewellery grade vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather of generous thickness .
The badge does have some slight enamel chips and a couple of surface scratches – these are not immediately obvious when viewed at life size but are visible in the high resolution enlarged listing photos- the price does reflect this.
These keyrings were made to be used ( as this one has been ) – they were not left in the glovebox !
The last perfect condition example of this keyring which we sold in 2018 was priced at £95.00.
A superb quality keyring which any BMW salesman would have been proud to have presented to the buyer of a new BMW motor car at the time- why ever don’t manufacturers of prestige cars supply a lovely keyring like this with a new car anymore – it can easily be attached to the ‘remote’ as thousands of customers for our own keyrings demonstrate.
This is a really lovely item and is just about the pinnacle of quality which automotive keyrings attained.
This keyring is original & correct for any 1980s- 1990s BMW car – M3, M5, M535, M635 or Z1
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When this keyring has been sold – then this listing will cancel. 59/93
