An original Chevrolet keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s.

The keyring is in excellent condition and has obviously hardly been used – if at all.

The vitreous enamel ‘Chevrolet stars’ badge is mounted onto a black vinyl keyfob.

It was only in the 1960s that vinyl was used for keyfobs – at that time it was seen as an exciting new material – much ‘cooler’ than boring old leather and had the advantage that it was waterproof if used in an open topped car ……..if the keyring got wet : goodness knows what state the rest of the car interior would be like !
