Home / Online Shop / Cooper – original 1960s ‘ World Champions’ badge with damage remounted onto a new leather keyfob
1 in stock
An original ( damaged ) Cooper keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one keyring with this badge in this damaged condition to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
A few years ago a keyfob badge in this condition would have been considered unsaleable – however attitudes to damage and patina have changed to the degree that some customers actually now prefer a badge or keyring which has ‘ had a life ‘ as this one obviously has.
This is a rare badge – so here is an opportunity to buy a keyring with one of these original badges at a very attractive price – particularly with the badge remounted onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
As can be seen from the enlarged high resolution listing photos – the badge has some considerable chipping in the translucent red vitreous enamel around the edge of the badge .
The central nickel plated area is ‘shot blasted’ with tiny indents – most of this damage will probably have taken place with the original keyring jangling about in a large bunch of keys which the original owner will have used .
The badge was produced by F & S which are a badgemaker whose name we very occasionally see on the reverse of badges but know very little about .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
