Home / Online Shop / Cooper – original vintage 1960s CUD peardrop keyring – collector’s item
NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
Original period keyrings for Cooper are very scarce – the Cooper brand did not attract the interest in the 1960s that it attracts now !
This is an original Cooper keyring dating from the 1960s.
The keyring is in good condition for its age with a nickel plated badge with vitreous enamel detail mounted onto a peardrop keyfob in genuine leather.
It shows all the signs of considerable use over the years but the plating & enamelling is all intact and the leather keyfob whilst very supple with use has a strong brass eyelet.
Made at the time by the famous Castles Unit Development Co. of Church Gate, Leicester – their CUD brand is on the back of the badge. Castles were best known for their ‘torpedo’ keyrings but also produced these peardrop shaped keyfobs at the same time.
The badge is a rare original example of the badge which spawned the wealth of reproduction Cooper World Champion badged keyrings which abound on ebay etc
Not the cheapest of keyrings – the price reflects what we now have to pay for an original Cooper keyring of this age.
This keyring is original & correct for any 1960s Cooper.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will cancel. 00/57 09/20
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given
