This ‘old school’ vitreous enamel badge is a copy of an original Daimler badge design from over 50 years ago and is intended to be used with classic Daimler motor vehicles.
Original Daimler ‘radiator grille’ keyring badges do very occasionally appear for sale and we have had a few examples over the years. The originals were made by R.Sculthorpe & Co. of London.
The radiator grille depicted on the badge is taken from the radiator grille design used by the 1960-68 Majestic Major and also the 1953 – 58 Conquest & Century.
The vitreous enamel badges which we use on these keyrings are exact replicas of the early 1960s originals but the maker’s name on the back of the badges has been omitted in order that these badges are not confused with original examples.
The back of the badges are simply in polished nickel plating .
Available mounted onto our teardrop, slimline teardrop, classic rectangular & hinged torpedo keyfobs and in all of the leather colours.
Examples of each keyfob shape available are shown in the group photo.
