An original Daimler keyfob badge which will have been produced in the early 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original vitreous enamel Daimler keyfob badge which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .

The vitreous enamel badge dates from the early 1960s and is in worn condition- a few years ago badges like this one would not have been considered to have been in good enough condition to remount .

However tastes have changed and many customers now appreciate keyrings and badges which have ‘had a life ‘ – much as original condition cars can now be valued over & above perfectly restored examples.

The red enamel in the bottom segment around ‘DAIMLER’ has some enamel loss whilst much of the original nickel plating has worn very thin .

The original high gloss of the black vitreous enamel has disappeared leaving a matt finish.

The badge is marked ‘CUD’ on the back denoting that it was made by Castles Unit Development Co. ( CUD ) of Castle Gate, Leicester, England.

This badge is original & correct for 1959 – 1964 Daimler SP250, 1960 – 1968 Daimler Majestic Major & 1962 – 1969 Daimler 2.5 litre V8.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and now has many more years and many more miles left in it !  SMOSO   59/94   11/21
