Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

De Tomaso – original 1970s vitreous enamel Manhattan Windsor badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original De Tomaso keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

A very rare keyfob badge – this was only the 2nd one which we have ever seen & listed although we have recently received just one additional badge – so that is 3 examples of this badge which we have now seen over the last 12 years .

This particular vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather.

The badge was made by the very well known Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham who made some of the best quality automotive keyrings and keyfob badges at the time.

In the 1970s almost all keyrings & keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

These badges were generally made in batches of 50 badges – we would think that Manhattan Windsor would have made just one batch at the time as the cars are rare and the 3 examples of badges which we have mentioned would have been from that batch.

So – the first badge that we had was remounted and sold some time ago .

The keyring in this listing has the second badge .

When this one has been sold we will remount the third badge ( which is also in excellent condition ) and offer it for sale .

Almost all of the rest of those 50 keyrings & badges ( if that is all Manhattan Windsor made ) will by now have been lost or discarded over the years when the leather keyfobs wore out.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO  00/571  01/23
