NOW SOLD – Sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We are not licensed by Ferrari to reproduce any of their logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Ferrari keyfob badges which have been made by us.
The keyring in this listing has an original vitreous enamel badge which is over 40 years old.
It is always a pleasure to be in a position to list an original vintage Ferrari keyring – so few come our way.
This one has arrived very recently and will in our opinion date from the late 1960s or possibly the very early 1970s.
It is only the 2nd example of it’s type which we have seen over the last 10 years.
The keyring is in very good condition considering it’s age- but is obviously showing signs of wear & use as a keyring of this age should do.
This keyring is a rare example of the keyrings which were actually being used in Ferrari motor cars at the time- apart from the keyrings which Ferrari made themselves but were not always issued with new cars .
The badge is in nickel plate with black vitreous enamel detail and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather.
Quite a small keyring – measuring just 3″ (75mm) in total height including the splitring and with a width of 1.3″ ( 33mm)
The badge has lost a few specks of nickel plating at 9 0’clock on the edge of the badge – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos.
This keyring will not have been made by Ferrari themselves in Italy- although they did make a lot of their keyrings themselves.
This keyring will have been made in Birmingham England at the time by one of the many small badgemakers who worked in that quarter in the late 1960s/early 1970s.
At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in Birmingham – it was quite an industry- nowadays of course production has generally moved to The Far East.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/521 02/20
