Ferrari – original vintage late 1970s Wilco Sales Corp. USA keyring – collector’s item

The keyring in this listing is an original Ferrari torpedo keyring which will have been produced around 40 years ago .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled 

A rare original Ferrari keyring –  and the only example which we have ever seen and listed.

Condition of the keyring is excellent – it is probably new old stock having never been used and will have been produced in the late 1970s or possibly early 1980s .

The keyring has a vitreous enamel badge which is mounted onto a torpedo shaped keyfob in black faux leather .

The back of the badge is plain with no maker’s mark – which was the case with all Wilco torpedo keyrings.

Made by Wilco Sales Corp. in USA who were established in new York in 1954 and supplied keyrings to US dealerships to issue with the cars – much the same as Manhattan Windsor did in Britain.

Similar keyrings but for Jaguar cars are described in Bud Marston’s ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings’ book which is featured in the Jaguar shop section of this website .

In his book, Bud describes similar keyrings made by Wilco for US Jaguar dealerships.
