NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We are not licensed by Ferrari to reproduce any of their logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Ferrari keyfob badges which have been made by us.
The keyring in this listing is an original vintage keyring which will date from the late 1970s or early 1980s.
An original Modena Ferrari keyring.
This keyring may not look particularly special – but is the only example of an early original Modena keyring which we have ever seen or listed over the last 10 years.
(We have seen examples of later Modena keyrings which were completely different with a hinged torpedo keyfob )
These keyrings are very rare items as they were not handed out in large numbers at the time and most examples will by now have been lost, discarded or thrown away when the leather fob eventually wore out.
The vitreous enamel on nickel plate badge is in very good condition and is mounted onto a genuine black leather keyfob on which ‘Modena East Horsley (04865) 4663’ can still be seen embossed.
Modena Engineering of Station Garage East Horsley was set up in 1977 by a group of Ferrari enthusiasts – Nick Mason became one of the directors.
It became an official Ferrari main dealer but lost this franchise when it was bought by Mohamed Al-Fayed’s Harrods group in 1990.
Modena then remained in business selling previously owned vehicles – mainly Ferraris.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/521 09/20
