The keyring in this listing has an original Ford Escort Mexico keyfob badge which will have been produced around 45 years ago.

We have just this one example of this keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled

If you have been looking for an original Ford Mexico keyring you will know that these keyrings are very scarce and valuable – for which reason it has been worthwhile remounting this damaged badge onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos .

This original vitreous enamel badge has had considerable use and the original leather keyfob was in a very poor condition .

The badge has many enamel chips mainly around the edge of the badge – all of these can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos.

A badge in this condition would have been considered unsaleable a few years ago – but attitudes to damaged and worn keyrings and badges have changed dramatically over the last few years – and many customers now prefer a keyring or badge which has ‘ had a life ‘ whereas previously they would only consider items in perfect condition .

In that case we were happy to buy this badge in and then go to the trouble of remounting it knowing that there is a market for any original Ford Escort Mexico keyring or keyfob badge .
