Ford Gran Torino - original early 1970s Manhattan Windsor badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The badge on the keyring in this listing is an original vintage Ford Gran Torino keyfob badge  which will have been produced over 40 years ago which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This vitreous enamel badge is in mint condition but was produced in the early 1970s !

It is the only example which we have ever listed over the last 10 years – a very rare badge made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who were the premier producer of keyrings at that time when almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry.

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

This badge is original & correct for 1968 -1976 Ford Gran Torino – named after the Italian city of Turin which was considered to be the Italian Detroit.

Some of these cars were fitted with high performance engines such as 428 Cu. in. & 429 cu. in. ‘Cobra’ engines and were then classified as ‘muscle cars’.
