We are not licensed by Ford Motor Company to reproduce any of their logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Ford keyfob badges which have been made by us.
The keyrings in this listing are original keyrings dating from the 1950s.
NOW SOLD – Sorry these keyrings have now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We have just 3 of these original new old stock Ford torpedo keyrings.
These keyrings date from the 1950s – these are the only examples which we have ever seen of this design and could well be the only survivors of a very small production batch.
The keyrings are in excellent condition and are probably new old stock.
The chrome plated badges have vitreous enamel detail and are mounted onto genuine leather torpedo keyfobs.
Made at the time by Castles Unit Development Co. of Castle Gate, Leicester ( CUD ) – they were the only manufacturers who made torpedo keyrings in this most distinctive torpedo shape. Their famous ‘CUD’ mark is on the back of each badge.
Castle’s automotive keyring products were exported all over the world – it was quite an industry at the time.
The details gold embossed on the back of the keyfob are for Heathway Motor Spares of Lees Parade, Uxbridge.
Heathways may have commissioned these keyrings from Castles to be sold through their motor spares outlet at the time- in which case their details were embossed onto the back of the keyfobs.
The keyrings in the photos are the actual ones which you will receive- these have to be the ultimate keyrings for the 1950s Ford enthusiast.
When all 3 have been sold this listing will cancel. 59/93 12/19
