Ford – original vintage new old stock 1960s CUD torpedo dealership keyring – collector’s item

The keyring in this listing is an original dealership torpedo keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

This is a superb original new old stock torpedo keyring which dates from the 1960s – it will have been issued with a new Ford motor car supplied by the Middlesex, England dealership shown gold embossed on the reverse of the keyfob .

It is in brand new condition .

The vitreous enamel badge is as fresh & vibrant as the day it was fired, the leather still looks new, and the stitching is as good & tight as the day it was stitched and the gold embossing looks as though it has just been freshly embossed this morning !

Dealerships often issued a couple of keyrings with new cars in those far-off and generous days .

One keyring was to use every day and the other was for the spare key which is probably what has happened with the keyring in this case…………this keyring has probably spent it’s life tucked in the back of a drawer forgotten with the spare key fitted only coming to light recently .

The keyring was made by the famous CUD ( Castle Unit Developments) Co. of Leicester, England. Their brand is engraved on the back of the badge.
