This must be the only example in existence of an original 1950s Greeves keyring still intact in it’s original celluloid packaging !
Produced by AE Wassell badgemakers of Birmingham UK in the mid to late 1950s – the keyring is in absolutely mint condition as can be seen in the photos.
This keyring could well be the only example of an original 60 year old AE Wassell keyring still intact in it’s original packaging !
The badge is in vitreous enamel whilst the keyfob is vinyl.
Vinyl was the material of choice at that time for motorcycle keyfobs- genuine leather tended to become rather soggy in wet weather on an open motorcycle.
Clear celluloid is an organic material which does become brittle in time – one side of the packet has fallen open ( allowing us to carefully remove the keyring for photos and then replace it )
This keyring is original & correct for any 1950s or early 1960s Greeves motorcycle.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will cancel.
