Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Hesketh motorcycle - original vintage 1980s keyring ( repaired ) - collector's item

£125.00

1 in stock

An original Hesketh keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s which came to us with some damage which we have repaired .

We have just this one keyring in this condition to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This must be one of the rarest motorcycle keyrings of all time – an original Hesketh keyring .

Not surprisingly we had never seen another example in the 15 years which we have been in existence ………….but then we received an original new old stock keyring which has now been listed ( unless now sold )

The keyring in this listing is in genuine black leather with ‘HESKETH’ and the coat of arms embossed in silver.

We would think that this keyring dates from the early 1980s.

The keyring is in fair condition but the leather loop at the top of the keyring which the splitring passes through came to us damaged and we have bonded it back into place as can be seen in the close-up photo .

In that case we would not regard the keyring as being a serviceable item which could be used without a more permanent repair- so the keyring is described as a collector’s item and is more suitable for preserving in a collection than actually being used on a motorcycle.

Hesketh motorcycles was formed by Alexander, 3rd Lord Hesketh in order to develop a prototype in 1980.

After 2 variations of the business had failed, the marque was maintained and improved by Broom Engineering in Northamptonshire.

In 2013 the marque was then reincarnated and became based in Kingswood in Surrey.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
