1 in stock
An original Honda keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one example of this keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
We don’t often list original 40 + year old Honda motorcycle keyfob badges in this condition .
This vitreous enamel badge is in mint condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
The last time which we listed and sold a similar badge in red enamel was in July 2023 .
Just ahead of the leading edge of the wing at 9 0’clock on the edge of the badge the enlarged high resolution listing photos have picked up a tiny ‘ pin hole’ in the enamel .
This will have been there since the badge was made and will have been a tiny air bubble in the liquid vitreous enamel as it solidified having been taken out of the furnace .
In the 1970s these vitreous enamel keyfob badge were often still being laid by hand and ‘ flaws’ like this were common .
Hardly a ‘flaw’……………it simply sets the badge apart from modern mass produced boringly identical badges with plastic resin enamel !
It is hardly noticeable when the badge is viewed at life size.
The badge is marked ‘ BRITISH MADE ‘ on the reverse .
In the 1970s almost all car & motorcycle keyrings were produced in England – it was quite an industry .
The original Honda motorcycle keyrings and keyfob badges which we see are often damaged or worn – they were used on open motorcycles in all weathers and suffered accordingly .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
