We have just this one example of this original vintage torpedo keyring for Humber Super Snipe to offer.
The keyring is original & correct for use with any late 1950s or 1960s Humber Super Snipe.
It is an original vintage item – not one of our remakes or remounts.
This keyring is in excellent condition and is almost 60 years old .
The vitreous enamel badge is in really excellent shape and the leather keyfob is in good order with good tight stitching.
Originally supplied with a new Humber Super Snipe from Cooper’s Garages of New Milton in Hampshire.
Look at that telephone no :- New Milton 21 !!
You can almost imagine the telephonist asking “Which number please ?” as you read it !
The keyring was made by Castles Unit Developments of Castle Gate in Leicester UK- their famous CUD logo is on the back of the badge.
Castles were the original & only manufacturers of torpedo shaped keyrings ( so prized by collectors today ) Their product very quickly went out of fashion in the late 1960s when keyrings as we know them today were introduced. Castles seem to have disappeared very quickly at about that time.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold then this listing will cancel.
