Individually Handmade Keyrings For Classic Vehicles Made Here In England & Shipped Worldwide

JAG9 -Jaguar - early 1950s 'growler' keyring

We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Jaguar logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos.

The keyring in this listing features an historic Jaguar keyfob badge logo from around 60 years ago and this keyring is intended to be used with classic Jaguar motor cars.

We are very proud to introduce this exquisite little keyring to our range. It is an exact reproduction of an original example which is held in our reference collection.

It is date correct for Jaguar XK120 -XK150 and also for Mark I and Mark VII – X saloons. A lot of work has gone into producing the vitreous enamel badge.

The diameter of the original badge is only 23mm – which is considerably smaller than our standard badge diameter of 27mm- so our reproduction badge also has a diameter of 23mm.

This relatively small badge is only suitable for mounting onto our slimline teardrop keyfob shape and also the smaller classic rectangular keyfob shown in the photos.

Original examples of this keyring are now in much demand and can command very high prices. In order that our reproduction of this keyfob is not confused with originals – we have chosen not to reproduce the original maker’s name on the back of our enamel badges.

Furthermore – all of our reproduction early 1950s ‘Growler’ leather fobs will be plainly stamped on the back with our logo. It is not our intention that these reproductions can be passed off as originals.

Available mounted onto our slimline teardrop or the smaller classic rectangular leather keyfob shape as can be seen in the listing photos.

Selecting ‘classic rectangular’ keyfob shape in the drop down options list will result in you receiving the badge mounted onto this smaller classic rectangular shape rather than our regular larger classic rectangular shape.

The images show the enamel badge mounted onto full grain black leather and tobacco brown leather.

The texture and colour of these two leathers is very close to what would have originally have been used at the time- if you select black leather colour then we will produce the keyfob in full grain black leather.

We also show the badge mounted onto a British Racing Green leather keyfob – as this is a popular option.

Please do not confuse our keyring with the truly dreadful repro. which regularly now appears on ebay pretending to be an original !!
