We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Jaguar logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos.
The keyring in this listing features an historic Jaguar keyfob badge logo from around 50 years ago and this keyring is intended to be used with classic Jaguar motor cars.
This listing is for ordering the Jaguar post 1964 badge inlaid into one of our slimline teardrop keyfobs in genuine tan pigskin leather – as shown in the photos.
In the 1960s pigskin leather was occasionally used for special keyrings by manufacturers such as Aston Martin & Armstrong Siddeley- so we thought that it would be appropriate to offer a keyring for the Jaguar E-type in pigskin leather .
Just two examples of this keyring are currently being offered due to the amount of time it takes to make them.
The badge features the familar Jaguar growler mask inset within the black & white chequerboard design which Jaguar first used in the very early 1960s and which then subsequently became adopted for the E-type after 1964.
It is an exact replica of the badge which was available at the time – even with regards to the size of that badge which measured 28mm in diameter rather than 27mm which was the standard size for most keyring badges at the time.
An original mid 1960s example of this enamel badge mounted onto a teardrop shaped leather fob can be seen in the ‘examples of original keyrings’ page of the GALLERY on this website.
Please do not confuse our exact vitreous enamel reproduction of this badge with the cheap resin repros commonly available on internet auction sites for a fiver !!
