We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Jaguar logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos. The keyring in this listing features an historic Jaguar keyfob badge logo from around 50 years ago and this keyring is intended to be used with classic Jaguar motor cars.
The badge mounted onto this keyfob is an exact reproduction of the very first keyfob badge which was produced for the early E-type Jaguar in 1961 and is correct for use with 1961 – 1964 Jaguar E-type .
The badge is also date correct for Jaguar saloons of that period.
This vitreous enamel badge is an exact replica based on a couple of original examples in our reference collection .
The diameter of these enamel badges ( and our replicas ) is 25mm – which is rather smaller than the standard badge size which is approaching 28mm.
Original examples of this keyring are now in much demand and can command very high prices.
In order that our reproduction of this keyfob is not confused with originals – we have chosen not to reproduce the original maker’s name (CUD) on the back of our enamel badges.
Furthermore – all of these reproduction early E-type leather keyrings will be plainly stamped on the back of the leather keyfob with our logo.
It is not our intention that these reproductions can be passed off as originals.
Available mounted onto our slimline teardrop and classic rectangular leather keyfob shapes and in all of the leather colours.
Please do not confuse this vitreous enamel badge with cheap resin copies which are now cropping up on internet auction sites !
