Individually Handmade Keyrings For Classic Vehicles Made Here In England & Shipped Worldwide

Jaguar - original 1960s red growler badge remounted onto new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – Sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Jaguar logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos.

The keyring in this listing features an historic original vintage Jaguar keyfob badge which was  manufactured around 50 years ago and this keyring with this badge mounted onto it is intended to be used with classic Jaguar motor cars.

A scarce 50 years + old Jaguar vitreous enamel keyfob badge and in excellent condition .

The black enamel around the edge of the badge is slightly ‘light’ – meaning that it has not completely covered the underlying plated base along the inside edges.

This can be readily seen in the high resolution enlarged photos in the listing but is not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size.

Slight ‘issues’ like this were very common at the time that these badges were produced. The vitreous enamel was individually hand laid and each enamel colour ( 2 colours in this case ) involved a separate 800 degrees Celcius firing in the kiln.

‘Made in England’ cast into the back of the badge – this badge will have been made in Birmingham at the time.

We are offering the badge remounted onto one of our slimline teardrop keyfobs in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos .

Remounting original vintage 20th Century badges onto new leather keyfobs of the correct pattern so that they can continue to be used well into the 21st Century is something which we are very well known for .

A similar badge is shown in Bud Marston’s ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings’ book featured at the beginning of our Jaguar section in this website shop.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.  00/58       12/19
