NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Jaguar logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos.
The keyring in this listing is an original item which was manufactured well over 40 years ago and this keyring is intended to be used with classic Jaguar motor cars.
This is an original keyring dating from the late 1960s which came to us with a split in the small leather loop which holds the badge to the keyfob .
We have repaired this by fitting a new leather loop – you would never have known – but it is always our policy to reveal any defects or repairs .
The original leather loop with the split will be supplied with the keyring.
The keyring was made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham whose name appears on the back of the badge.
The vitreous enamel badge has an enamel chip at 9 0’clock on the face of the badge together with the usual cosmetic small surface scratches which badges of this age accumulate if they have been used .
The keyfob in genuine black leather is in very good condition and Melsom’s trademark ‘Keyflix’ emboss under the badge can be just made out.
These keyrings are described in Bud Marston’s ‘Vintage Jaguar keyrings’ book featured at the beginning of our Jaguar section in this website shop.
Values of original Jaguar keyrings have now risen to the degree that it is difficult for us to be able to offer originals in good condition at any price.
This keyring is original & correct for use in any late 1960s or early 1970s Jaguar motor car.
The keyring which you will receive is the actual one in the photographs.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/521 12/20
