NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
An original Lagonda keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1970s or 1980s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
Please note that the translucent red vitreous enamel border of this badge does contain a few enamel chips .
Whilst these are not particularly apparent when viewed at life size they can be plainly seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .
When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This Lagonda keyfob badge was made by Manhattan Windsor badgemakers of Birmingham in the late 1970s or 1980s and is in good condition apart from the enamel chips already described .
The Lagonda winged logo in the centre of the badge is extremely complicated and a fine example of the vitreous enameller’s art and appears perfect to the naked eye – a few imperfections are revealed using a magnifying glass .
This badge was produced during the late 1970s or 1980s at a time when there were still plenty of Lagonda cars on the roads in regular use and in need of keyrings including 1977 onwards Lagonda Series 2 ‘wedge’ saloon .
We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO 59/94 07/23
