Lamborghini - original 1990s? vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new keyfob in genuine black pigskin leather

1 in stock

We do not have a licence which permits us to reproduce the Lamborghini logo. The badge on this keyring is an original vintage item which we would date as having been produced in the 1990s.

An original Lamborghini vitreous enamel badge which we have mounted onto a new keyfob in genuine black pigskin leather as can be seen in the photos.

The badge is in excellent condition and we would date it as being from the 1990s – but could be earlier.

This badge is in vitreous enamel whereas modern reproductions of this badge are in resin based hard enamel ( we are listing a couple of reproduction badge keyrings unless now sold )

This is only the 5th example of this original vitreous enamel badge which we have ever listed over the last 10 years – these badges are scarce.

Hardly any original vitreous enamel keyfob badges for Lamborghini were ever produced.

Pigskin leather was ( and is ! ) a luxurious leather which was sometimes used for keyfobs – usually for prestige cars.

It was always expensive and was prized for it’s appearance and hard wearing durability which was ideal for keyfobs which receive a lot of handling.

Pigskin leather seems to be a thing of the past and no longer available in the grade needed for making keyfobs – the material which we use was sourced from a closed Midlands factory which had been using it for covering hip flasks and making wallets – and keyfobs- quite some time ago.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing will cancel.
