We have just a few of these superb quality original badges which came to us from the leather works of Heath & Machin & Co. of Walsall which changed hands in the 1970s and then finally closed in the 1990s.
These badges will have been made by Heath & Machin in the late 1960s or very early 1970s.
At that time almost all keyrings and keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry which has now sadly moved to The Far East,
The badges are in nickel plate and vitreous enamel which is so bright and lustrous that the badges could have been made only yesterday.
We have mounted the badges onto new keyfobs in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.
Heath & Machin made small leathergoods and keyrings and also mounted keyfob badges for other manufacturers most notably Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham .
These badges are original & correct for use with any 1960s or early 1970s Lancia motor car – or could be used as a ‘retro keyring’ in a later car.
When all the keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled.
