Land Rover – original late 1960s/ early 1970s gilt vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Land Rover keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

The keyfob badge mounted onto this keyfob is in exceptionally good condition and is a very rare item – very few of these keyfob badges have survived as they were used on keyrings in working Land Rovers and led a very hard life !

We have remounted and listed very few of these badges over the years and this is probably the best one that we have seen .

The translucent green & yellow vitreous enamel is absolutely perfect and the gilt plating is just as it has always been apart from having mellowed over the years to give a wonderful impression of age – a lovely badge .

Now remounted onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather and fit for another 40 years of service.
