NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We never expected to see an original intact example of this keyring knowing the hard use they will have been subjected to in a Land Rover !
This is the only one that we have ever seen and listed over the last 10 years !
In that time we have come across just one of these badges which had long since lost it’s original leather keyfob ( which we remounted onto a new leather keyfob and listed and sold very quickly ) – and then very recently a customer sent a loose badge in for remounting onto a new leather keyfob for his own use.
Very few of these keyrings can ever have been made – possibly just 50 as keyrings tended to be made in batches of 50.
Virtually all will have been discarded worn out over the years.
This keyring dates from the late 1960s or very early 1970s and is in very good condition indeed !
The vitreous enamel badge is almost perfect ( one tiny enamel chip which can hardly be seen with the naked eye )
The genuine tan leather keyfob is in excellent condition with good tight stitching and hardly any wear at all.
Made by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham who made keyrings for every conceivable make of vehicle at that time.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/57 07/20
