NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
The rarest of the rare – this is only the 2nd new old stock classic Land Rover keyring which we have ever seen over the last 10 years let alone listed.
Condition is obviously mint.
Land Rover keyrings in the 1960s were bought to be used in anger and received the same level of abuse as the vehicles themselves – so no wonder that hardly any have survived at all in any condition.
This keyring was made by Melsom Products Ltd in Birmingham in the 1960s – their details are cast into the back of the badge .
The badge is in vitreous enamel and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather – an excellent quality item for the time.
We were recently told about a similar keyring listed on ebay ( not in mint condition like this one ) at a Buy-it-Now price of £150.00 or offer.
We checked and found the listing had just been removed – presumably the vendor had accepted a near offer.
Rare automotive keyrings have suddenly become very hot property and we don’t expect that this one at much less than the ebay price will hang around for long.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/59 12/20
