Land Rover - original vintage new old stock 1960s melsom products keyring - collector's item

An original Land Rover keyring which will have been produced in Birmingham in the 1960s.

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

A very rare keyring – an original Melsom Products Land Rover keyring dating from the 1960s.

This keyring is in mint new old stock condition .

Goodness knows where it has been all these years to remain in this brand new condition .

A keyring like this one is very much rarer than the vehicles themselves which it was made to be used with .

These keyrings were used in working Land Rovers in all weathers and very few keyrings have survived intact over the last 50 or 60 years.

This was of course in the days of Series II Land Rovers  – long before the luxury vehicles which we associate with the name ‘Land Rover’ today !

We have listed very few examples of one of these keyrings over the years – and only one other ( recently listed & sold ) was in mint condition like this one .

Made by the well known Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham who produced car & motorcycle keyrings in the 1960s .

The vitreous enamel badge in lemon yellow enamel is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan leather .

These keyfob badges were known as ‘drop’ badges ( like a drop of water )

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and is original & correct for use with any late Series I or any 1958 -1971 Series II 1960s Land Rover .
