Land Rover Series II – original vintage late 1960s/ early 1970s keyring in worn condition

An original vintage Land Rover keyring in worn condition which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

So rare is this keyring that we have only seen and listed just one other example ( in similar condition ) over the last 10 years !

The reason for it’s rarity is easy to explain……………hardly any of these keyrings will have survived the rigours of life in a working Series Land Rover .

Series Land Rovers were built for work and almost all that have survived have been re-built sometimes more than once .

The same does not apply to the keyrings which were used in those vehicles – they were thrown away when they became tatty or simply worn out with constant handling and rattling around .

This keyring is a rare survivor and will have been produced for use with Series II & IIA vehicles.

This keyring is in good serviceable condition ( plenty of miles left in it yet ) but the vitreous enamel badge has a couple of enamel chips at 8 0’clock on the face of the badge and the keyfob is well worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes .

Original & correct for use with 1958 -1971 Land Rover Series II & IIA and could also be used with an early 1971 + Series III .
